CONTROVERSY IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

We all have heard about a thing called "controversy" which it is a prolonged public dispute,
something that causes commotion. The Music Industry has a lot of controversy, starting from the difference between artists, their types of music and their private lives. Something that becomes really controversial is when an artist dies all of a sudden. It gives people a topic to talk about, sadly. Have you ever stopped to think about how singers become more famous after they are dead? For example, the Latin American star, Selena Quintanilla's legacy grew exponentially after she was shot dead at the age of 23.

in their careers just to get on the media's eye and
bring attention to them.
Additionally, the amount of money people like us and the own artist spend on music is insane. The way the artist expresses himself makes controversy too. If a singer sings a song he is not used to, as a consequence people are going to  be talking about them for days. That is also a strategy that people like singers, actors and people in the media use. Making controversy to gain followers brings attention to them. It's crazy to think about how many things happen in the music industry everyday. Shocking and exciting things are always being revealed to the public making them go crazy.


Unlike us, artists have to make their life public to the entire world which causes them to have personal issues and go crazy. It messes with the way they make music causing their careers to downfall. To avoid this, professional musicians should be urged to keep their personal lives out of their music.

Although the music industry is a big mess, people all around our planet benefit from it in some way or another. Just listening to your favorite part of a song can have a big impact on your day.

One big controversy in music is an artist's environment. There are tons of artists that come from many different backgrounds. The ones that come from bad backgrounds are the ones that get shut out the most or are looked at differently. They shouldn’t be looked at any differently just because they come from bad or distinct backgrounds. Most artists don’t have a choice where they come from. The artists that come from neighborhoods where there are many bad influences like gang violence and drugs. They live in poverty and must live with what they are given. They are still artists and their music  means  something to people that come from similar backgrounds.
